02  The quiet leak

The bookings you never see are the ones that hurt.

A customer messages at 22:00. You're with your family, or under a car, or asleep. By morning they've messaged the next shop down the road. Two numbers most owners recognise:

// after hours
20–30%

of booking enquiries arrive when you're closed.

Evenings, weekends, lunch under the bonnet. The question gets cold before you can answer it — and cold leads rarely message twice.

Typical range for appointment-led local services — not a Relay measurement.
// admin drag
3+ hrs

a week juggling messengers and your calendar.

Telegram here, Messenger there, a website form somewhere else — then copying it all by hand into a diary that lives in a different app entirely.

Typical for a 1–20 person shop — presented as a guide, not a claim.

One agent. Every channel you actually use. Booked straight into your calendar.

03  What it does

Three jobs, done properly. Then we stopped.

No forty-feature spec sheet. Relay replaces a chat tool, a booking tool and a FAQ bot with one subscription that does the whole loop — message in, booking out.

F.01 — all in one place

Every chat and every booking, in one inbox.

Stop paying for a chat widget, a scheduling link and a separate FAQ bot that don't talk to each other. Relay reads the message, answers from your own price list and policies, and writes the booking into your calendar — natively. No Zapier, no glue, no copy-paste.

F.02 — set-up by talking

You describe the shop. It builds itself.

No prompts to write, no flowcharts to draw. Tell the builder what you do in plain English and drop in your price list. Relay reads it, writes its own answers, and connects your channels.

Booking is built in — not bolted on.

A real calendar, not a scheduling link
Day, week & month views
See the whole shop at a glance, or one ramp at a time.
Services, staff & durations
Each job carries its length and buffer, so the diary can't overfill.
Availability rules
Opening hours, lunch, days off — the bot never books outside them.
Book straight from a message
Plus automatic reminders that quietly cut no-shows.
04  See it for yourself

Two short demos. No slideshow.

Short animated walkthroughs of the exact flow — a message comes in, a booking goes out. Real screen recordings from pilot shops replace these as they come.

Demo 1 · the main one loop
Message → booking, while you're closed

A 10pm message becomes a 9am job.

The hero loop: phone lights up after close, Relay offers real slots, the customer picks one, and it lands on tomorrow's calendar — no app, no phone call.

"I'm not technical" — sorted in 30 minutes.

A screencast of the builder: describe the shop, drop in a price-list PDF, watch it index, connect Telegram, send a test message — and it answers with a price from your own document.

05  Your numbers, not ours

What are the after-hours messages worth?

We won't quote you a headline figure we can't back. So put in your own numbers — on conservative defaults — and see for yourself.

Average job value120
Typical ticket for one booking.
Booking enquiries a week40
Across every channel — messages that could become a booking.
Share arriving after hours25%
Evenings, weekends, while you're busy.
Admin hours saved a week3

Value sitting in your after-hours enquiries
900
~7 enquiries a week slipping away after close.
630
value back / month
bookings + time saved

at €69/mo

How this is worked out: your after-hours enquiries × your job value gives the figure on the right. “Value back” recovers that at a deliberately conservative 70% — not 100% — plus the admin time saved. Nothing here is a guarantee; it's your own inputs doing the maths, and we'd rather under-promise.

06  Where Relay sits

A complement — not another marketplace.

Fresha and Booksy go and find you new customers in their marketplace. Relay catches the ones already messaging you and walks them to a booking. Different job.

RRelay Fresha / Booksy Calendly Answering it yourself
Answers in messengers Telegram, Messenger, Viber, widget In-app chat only You, when you're free
Books into a real calendar Native, with buffers Yes Link only By hand
Answers after hours 24/7, automatically No Self-serve link When you're awake
Quotes from your own price list Yes — your PDF, indexed No No If you remember

GDPR & data EU-hosted · DPA by default · no training on your data Varies by region US-based On your phone

Already on Fresha or Booksy? Keep them. Relay sits in front, catching the messages they never see — and hands a clean booking to your diary.

07  Proof, honestly

No stock photos. No invented quotes.

We're early, and we'd rather show you the product than fake a wall of five-star faces. Real owner stories land here as the pilot shops opt in — name, photo, a link you can check yourself.

Product proof · a real pilot dashboard

The numbers come from the product, not a marketing deck.

41
bookings taken after 18:00 · first month
~⅓
fewer no-shows after auto-reminders
9s
median first reply, any hour
Every figure we ever publish is pulled from a real account and kept with the owner's own wording — so it's checkable, not rounded up for a headline.
Pilot in progress · garage
+ Your story could be here2-ramp garage · pilot shop

Real name, real photo in the shop, a link to your public profile, and one honest number from your own account — the moment a pilot owner says yes.

We'd rather leave this slot visibly empty than fill it with someone who doesn't exist. An empty slot is more honest than a fake one.

08  Getting started

Live by this afternoon. Honestly.

Most of it is a conversation and a few clicks. We'll also tell you plainly where something is out of our hands.

Describe your shop

Tell the builder what you do and drop in your price list. It writes its own answers from your documents.

~10 minutes

Set up the calendar

Add your services, staff, durations and opening hours. Buffers stop the diary overfilling.

~10 minutes

Connect a channel

Telegram, Viber or the website widget connect in a click. Send a test message and watch it answer.

A click — Telegram & widget

Let it take the night shift

It answers, quotes and books while you're closed — and hands anything unusual straight to you.

Some channels need provider sign-off — that's them, not us
09  Pricing

One subscription. The whole loop.

Chat, booking and your channels in a single bill — versus stitching together a chat tool, a scheduler and a messenger add-on. Tax is handled for you by Paddle.

What counts as a "conversation"?
One customer, one thread, within 24 hours — however many messages they send. Five back-and-forths to book an MOT is one conversation, not five.
No surprise channel caps
Growth and Business include every live channel. Starter is genuinely two — we'll never advertise "all channels" and then gate them behind an upsell.
10  The bit you're worried about

It sounds like your shop. Not a robot.

The fear isn't the technology — it's a bot saying something daft to a customer in a small town. So Relay is built to be careful, and to know when to step back.

Never pretends to be something it isn't

Reads like your admin — hands off when it should.

  • Trained only on your documentsYour price list, your FAQs, your policies — nothing it made up.
  • If it's unsure, it connects youNo guessing. It flags the thread and pings you to take over.
  • Never promises beyond your availabilityIt can't book a slot you don't have, or a price you didn't set.
GDPR is the feature, not the footnote

Your customers' data stays yours.

DPA by defaultSigned data-processing agreement from day one — not "on request".
EU servers, no training on your dataConversations stay in your account. We never use them to train models.
DSAR & sub-processors in the openData requests handled in-product; a public sub-processors page you can read.
A visible stop on pricing — your biggest worry, handled. The bot quotes "from €X", never a fixed price it can't honour, and never confirms a slot you don't have free. When in doubt, it passes the customer to you — so nobody turns up to a job that was never really booked.
11  Straight answers

The questions a busy owner actually asks.

No. You set it up by talking to the builder and dropping in your price list. If you can send a message, you can set up Relay.
It reads like your admin replying — polite, to the point, in your shop's voice. When something needs a human, it hands the conversation to you rather than blagging an answer.
You get a notification and can step in, correct it, and teach it — right from the thread. It only ever answers from your own documents, so it isn't inventing prices or policies.
Encrypted, on EU servers, and never used to train models. You get a DPA by default and a public sub-processors page. Your conversations stay in your account.
No — it takes the repetitive load off them. It saves the front desk roughly 6–10 hours a week of "what time, how much, are you open" so they can do the work only a person can.
Then they phone — and you answer, like always. Relay isn't here to replace the phone; it's here to catch the half of your customers who'd rather message and currently get silence after hours.
No. Keep them. Relay sits in front and catches the messenger enquiries they never see, then books cleanly into your diary. It complements your booking platform — it doesn't fight it.
